Scope, deliverables, and pricing

A hybrid model matched to the shape of each engagement: fixed-fee packages for scoped assessments, monthly retainers for ongoing advisory, and a day-rate fallback for workshops and scope extensions. All bands exclude VAT and travel; a short scoping call precedes every quote.

Retainer or fixed-fee sprint

Technology Strategy Advisory

Ongoing counsel to CEOs, boards, and CTOs on technology direction: build-vs-buy decisions, platform roadmaps, AI adoption strategy, technical hiring plans, and translating business goals into a credible technology agenda. We act as an independent sparring partner who sits on your side of the table, not a vendor's. Available as a standing retainer or as a one-off 4–6 week strategy sprint that produces a board-ready technology strategy.

Who it's for: SMEs and mid-market companies (€5M–€200M revenue) without a strong internal CTO function; PE portfolio companies post-acquisition; scale-ups preparing for a funding round.

Architecture Review

An independent, evidence-based assessment of a system's architecture: scalability, reliability, security posture, cost efficiency, technical debt, and fitness for the business's next 2–3 years. We review code, infrastructure, documentation, and delivery practices, and interview the engineering team. The output is a prioritized findings report your team can execute against — with severity, effort estimates, and a recommended sequence, not just a list of problems.

Who it's for: companies experiencing scaling pain, reliability incidents, or runaway cloud costs; new CTOs/VPs wanting a baseline; boards seeking independent assurance before a major platform investment.

Fixed-fee · deadline-driven

Technical Due Diligence

Buy-side (or sell-side readiness) assessment of a target company's technology for investors and acquirers: architecture and scalability, code quality, IP and licensing exposure, security and compliance, team and key-person risk, product roadmap credibility, and technology cost structure. Runs on deal timelines — typically 2–3 weeks from kickoff to final report — with a red-flag interim readout within the first week, so surprises surface before exclusivity pressure builds.

Who it's for: PE and VC funds, corporate M&A teams, search funds; founders preparing for an exit or raise (vendor DD / readiness review).

Fixed-fee package

Vendor & Platform Selection

Structured selection of software platforms, cloud providers, or implementation partners: requirements definition with stakeholders, market scan and longlist, weighted-criteria shortlisting, RFP management, demo/PoC evaluation, TCO modeling, and contract negotiation support. We are strictly vendor-neutral — we take no referral fees or partner commissions — so the recommendation is defensible to boards and procurement.

Who it's for: mid-market companies and public-sector/education organizations selecting ERP, CRM, LMS, data platforms, or cloud providers; companies replacing a legacy core system.

Retainer · 6-month typical

Fractional CTO

Hands-on senior technology leadership on a part-time basis for companies not yet ready for a full-time CTO: owning the technology roadmap, leading vendor and architecture decisions, hiring and mentoring engineering leads, and representing technology to the board and investors. This is the natural continuation of a strategy sprint or architecture review — you keep the advisor who already knows the terrain.

Who it's for: startups post-seed to Series B; SMEs digitalizing a traditional business; portfolio companies between CTO hires.
